Okay, I am CERTAIN (based on years of growing up in East Tennessee and watching countless men and boys chew and dip tobacco and therefore having a VERY GOOD idea what it looks like) that Scott is dipping tobacco in three photos in the Creed INK magazine: in both shots of his face in the tattoo section you can tell he has a lip full and on page 17 where he is holding the guitar. A lot of guys start dipping when they quit smoking---maybe that's what he did.
